  1. PrintTimer INIT is a system extension that monitors Print
  2. Manager activities, and appends the information to a textfile
  3. named "Print Log" in the system folder. If this log file doesn't
  4. exits, PrintTimer will create one.

  6. The information logged by PrintTimer INIT are as follows:
  7. The name of the application printing the job, the time this job
  8. was started. The documents name as it appeared in the job dialog,
  9. For each page in the job, the time the page was started and
  10. the time it ended. Finally the time when the entire printing
  11. process was terminated.

  13. PrintTimer INIT is not printer specific, with one exception,
  14. when the print job is targeted for Appletalk PostScript
  15. printers, PrintTimer INIT will wait until the "printer" goes
  16. into an idle state. However, you can terminate this waiting
  17. process by holding down the Command-Period keys.
